Democratic presidential politics coming to Texas

Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House, recently tweeted Texas will be “ground zero” for the 2020 election. That’s already turning out to be true. 

Kamala Harris, one of the Democratic primary candidates, is holding a rally in Houston on March 23. Tickets here

Beto O’Rourke launches his campaign kick off in El Paso on March 30. 

And the first presidential forum in the nation is April 24 in Houston hosted by She the People, an organization that connects women of color and encourages participation in politics.The event is cohosted by the Texas Future Project and Houston-based Texas Organizing Project
